The 1970s albums missing from the box (8 discs) are Bob Dylan's Greatest Hits (1971), Dylan (1973), Before The Flood (1974), Hard Rain (1976) and Bob Dylan At Budokan (1978).

The picture on the front of the slipcase comes from 1986's Hard To Handle video of Bob live with Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, see VHS & DVDs 1980s.

This 5CD set was given away with the Greek newspaper "Eleftherotypia [Free Press]" ("Free" as in uncensored, not free of charge like many UK papers paid for by advertising!). Each album is from a different decade: 1960s - Blonde On Blonde, 1970s - Blood On the Tracks, 1980s - Infidels, 1990s - Time Out of Mind, 2000s - Modern Times. Each CD came in a card sleeve and there was also a five panel card sleeve to hold the five CDs if you collected all of them. The card sleeves were printed by Digital Press Hellas.

These French language books with CDs are from a series of books with CDs from publisher Altaya in association with Sony Music/Legacy called "L'Intégrale Bob Dylan [The Complete Bob Dylan]". The first album Highway 61 Revisited and CD cost €2.99 and came with the display poster shown, which illustrates the entire series on the reverse.

The second album was Blonde On Blonde priced at €5.99 and subsequent parts have cost €8.99. The rear of the second and third posters are the same as the first apart from details of the next issues, which were The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan and Bringing It All Home. Michel Pomarede now says that the "posters" are not actually posters, but newsstand display materials. The series was discontinued after the four issues shown here.

It does however, have a final drum beat that was missing from the 1978 version (still on Bob Dylan's Greatest Hits Vol. 3, 1994, and even on the 2007 3CD set Dylan), which was timed at 6:36.

The US copy shown above is a promo, with a white promo sticker with blue text on the shrink-wrap on the bottom of the box, which is plain red covered by a folded card wrapper. Thanks to Arie de Reus for information that Side Tracks will also be available as a separate 3LP vinyl set, see 2013 because it contains a rarity. Éamonn Ó Catháin adds that, although these albums are not listed as remastered, Time Out Of Mind sounds very different from the current standard CD release and Modern Times sounds closer to the vinyl mastering than the original CD. (Siamak Tazari ripped the wave files to compare them and agrees that Time Out of Mind is indeed very different from the original CD master, but says that Modern Times is identical to the original CD master - at least the one included on the original Deluxe Edition of Modern Times.)

This 36CD collection is being advertised in the street in Italy. The first instalment of the collection is a 42cm x 42cm piece of cardboard which holds the debut album and a binder. This could be purchased on its own, not with the magazine or newspaper. The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan was available on 7 Jul 2017. The instalments will carry on like this for 34 weeks more, with a new official album each Friday.
