This page is part of a list of original releases by release date of international commercially-released multi-packs of regular stereo Dylan albums. These are listed here to save multiple entries on each album page. They do not contain rarities or obscurities and are not eligible for the Searching For A Gem list. Nevertheless, their interest value or scarcity means they're worth listing here - as far as I know some are not included on any other Internet site.

"Mitos Musicales: Bob Dylan [Musical Myths: Bob Dylan]" - 2 LP set in box, CBS/El Círculo de Lectores (no catalogue number) (Spain), 1986, re-issued late 1980s:

This is a very rare 1986 2LP boxed set from Spanish mail order company El Círculo de Lectores with Bob Dylan's Greatest Hits (CBS S 62847, UK tracklist) and Empire Burlesque (CBS S 86313) plus a book in Spanish by Jordi Sierra i Fabra called "La Historia Interminable [The Neverending Story]". The "Mitos Musicales" series included mostly Spanish and Latin American artists apart from Bob and Elvis Presley. The rear of the box is plain black. The records are in plain white sleeves without the original outer sleeves. The Bob Dylan's Greatest Hits labels are slightly different from the mid-1980s Spanish release of this album. The Empire Burlesque labels are the same as the second Spanish release of this album. For the Bob Dylan's Greatest Hits label differences, see here. Manuel Garcia Jara has three copies of this box - in the first both albums have orange/yellow CBS labels, in the second Greatest Hits has the same orange/yellow labels, but Empire Burlesque has red CBS labels with CBS Special Products stamps, and in the third both albums have red CBS labels as in the box also owned by Pachi Becerril.

"The Times They Are A-Changin'"/"Bob Dylan" - 2 albums on one "Double Play" cassette, CBS 40-22147 (UK), 1987:

This cassette was sold at what was then mid-price (£6.29) and had The Times They Are A-Changin' on Side 1 and Bob Dylan on Side 2. The cassette insert lists the album tracks, but there's no other information or artwork.

You're No Good from Bob Dylan is mistitled as "She's No Good" on both sides of the insert. The cassette is in a white plastic case with black text, there are no paper labels.

There must be more of these "2 on 1" cassettes to list - information required.

"The Times They Are A-Changin'"/"Bob Dylan" - 2 albums on one "Double Play" cassette, CBS 241056C (Australia), 1980s:

This cassette had Bob Dylan on Side 1 and The Times They Are A-Changin' on Side 2. The cassette insert is blank on the reverse. You're No Good from Bob Dylan is correctly titled on the insert and the cassette. The cassette is in a clear plastic case with white text, there are no paper labels.

"Blood On The Tracks"/"Another Side Of Bob Dylan" - 2LP set in gatefold sleeve, CBS 461013 1 (NL), 1988:

This 2LP set comes in a gatefold sleeve with the front sleeves of the single albums on the outside and the rear sleeves on the inside of the gatefold. The records have red CBS labels. Record 1 (Blood on the Tracks) is housed in a red inner sleeve, record 2 (Another Side of Bob Dylan) has a plain white inner sleeve. Matrix numbers for record 1 are: Side 1 - CXAL-33235-2C (stamped), 12-69097-1A-1 (stamped), plus "COLUMBIA NY" and "NL", Side 2 - S 69097-B1 (handwritten). Matrix numbers for record 2 are: Side 3 - 01-32034-1A-1 (stamped), Side 4 - 01-32034-1B-1 (stamped).

Record 1 (The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan) is housed in a CBS "Nice Price" inner sleeve, record 2 (Nashville Skyline) has a picture inner sleeve showing the rear sleeves of the albums. The records again have red CBS labels and were made in Spain by Tecnodisco S.A. The records are actually dated 1990. Girl Of The North Country is misspelled "Gilr" on Side 3 (the record sides are again numbered 1 to 4 as the Dutch release above). The matrix numbers of the records shown are: Side 1 - 32390-A0 (stamped) 465214-1-A (handwritten), Side 2 - 32390-B0 (stamped) 465214-1-B (handwritten), Side 3 - P Q AL 32872-2A(stamped) 465214-1-C (handwritten), Side 4 - 63601-B0 (stamped) 465214-1-D (handwritten).
