This is a separate multi-year list by release date of commercially-released Various Artist stereo compilation albums released in 2006 that have been referred to me but do not qualify for my Searching For A Gem list because they contain only Bob Dylan performances which are available on officially released Dylan albums. Nevertheless, their interest value or scarcity means they're worth listing here - as far as I know some are not included on any other Internet site. Promo-only Various Artist compilation albums with Dylan tracks are now included in this list. Other International Compilations are now here:

On Cripple Creek. The performances are described as being "recorded live by
the KBRH" but the Dylan performance is almost certainly from Before The

Marketing Limited for the CD Card Company under licence from Sony BMG. This

The leading role is played by German-Catalan actor Daniel Brühl, which is possibly why there is a (sub-titled) German DVD release titled "Salvador: Kampf Um Die Freiheit [Salvador: Fight For Freedom]". As far as I know there has been no US or UK DVD release. For DVD releases of the 2006 film, see VHS & DVD: Items with Dylan Album Tracks 2000s Part 2.
The film soundtrack was released by Sony Music in Spain on 19 Dec 2006, but I so far only have details of the Japanese 2007 release. It has a brown and orange obi with white, brown and orange text with price ¥2,520 (¥2,400 before tax) and release date "07-9-19" (19 Sep 2007). The original US release date is shown as "06-9-19" (19 Sep 2006) and the withdrawal date as "08-3-18" (18 Mar 2008).
