This is a separate multi-year list by release date of commercially-released Various Artist stereo compilation albums released between 2000 and 2001 that have been referred to me but do not qualify for my Searching For A Gem list because they contain only Bob Dylan performances which are available on officially released Dylan albums. Nevertheless, their interest value or scarcity means they're worth listing here - as far as I know some are not included on any other Internet site.

See the Promotional Albums pages of  International Promotional Releases for promo-only Various Artist compilation albums with Dylan tracks. Other International Compilations are now here:

There must be hundreds of these albums from round the world! This page is incomplete. If you have any entries to add to the list or additions/corrections to existing entries, please let me know! Please note I cannot value your Dylan rarities - see the Mission page for reasons why. Contact the dealers on my Trading page for assistance!

Now both Blood On The Tracks and Oh Mercy have been released in remastered hybrid SACD versions both R-0320 and R-0321 become redundant. The two remastered tracks were in significantly better quality than on the regular Columbia CDs at the time, but they have now been superseded. This soundtrack album also contains another Dylan song, Not Dark Yet from Time Out Of Mind - this is the regular album version (not yet released in hybrid SACD format).

R-0446 Most Of The Time - this version was reportedly remastered from the original 1989 Oh Mercy version

Oh Mercy was one of three Dylan albums that were remastered in 1997 but which have never actually been released in the remastered CD format. This track appeared to be from that master. It has now been superseded by the remastered hybrid SACD release of Oh Mercy.

"HwyCDRrev" informs me the video/DVD of the film also contains Tonight I'll Be Staying Here With You, see VHS & DVD: Films with Dylan Album Tracks.
