This page lists Various Artists stereo promotional albums in all formats including Bob Dylan album tracks. They do not contain rarities, but are none the less very collectable. This page only lists albums released solely for promotional purposes - promo copies of commercially released albums are included on the same page as the commercial album. Radio station albums are now also listed separately.

Columbia CSK-5033 (USA) - long box front scan by Hans Seegers	Bob's contribution to this promo gold CD is Rainy Day Women #12 & 35 - almost certainly the version from the gold CD release of Blonde On Blonde (see 1966). Other artists featured are Miles Davis, Dave Brubeck, Janis Joplin, Aerosmith, Boston, Billy Joel and Bruce Springsteen. The CD came in a long box. There was a rear insert listing the songs, but there was no front insert. This album has Stereo Review 35th Anniversary on the front of the box and on the CD, but Stereo Review Mastersound Sampler on the spine of the rear insert. This 16-track compilation for radio stations from Sony Japan includes Like A Rolling Stone from Highway 61 Revisited. The track is timed at 6:08 instead of the expected 5:59/6:00 and plays at 6:08. The CD jewel case insert cover features a cartoon of Coolio. The interior features monochrome reproductions of each of the album covers from which these tracks are taken, plus a short comment on each in Japanese. The rear insert has the track listings in Japanese and English. The title is a word play on the then current Sony advertising slogan for their audio/video products "It's a Sony"!
